Anyone know if the lights in the Vines will be replaced over the summer so we have capabilities for better player and team intro's. Also, I know most other schools have a highlight video play just before player intros, is there any of this type of thing in the works for next year?

there is actually talk about putting shades over the lights so that we can do "black outs" for intros, the lights would actually remain on the whole time but the shades would cover them so the whole place would go dark

Manger's been talking about that for a year.

How hot do those lights get? I'm envisioning the furnace getting a little bit hotter when real flames break out.

A lot of places have those "barn doors" over the lights. Not a danger.

I was actually just joking around this time.

I dont know about the lights, but We are making a highlight video that Coach McKay wants with some Hype(ish) Christian rap... It wil be something better than we have had here. Coach really likes the idea and we have been working on it, it will be very good...

If you can't take a joke and realize everyone on here makes fun of everyone, then this board isn't for you. I was simply stating that Manger, someone directly connected to the team, has been talking about this for almost a year.

No, I hadn't heard that. That is a nice touch, but I hope it's not expensive. Seems like we could buy some non-broken chairs for the price of a few shot clocks.

I think the scoreboard stuff alone was $10k.

interesting thing about the Vines is that athletics is responsible for everything on the floor, but seating and concourse are the responsibility of building services.
