Even if they are far and few between, just wondering what some of your favorite moments of this seasons were. My favorite had to be last night at the Winthrop game sitting with Larry Blair's family. They adopted me and the two guys on my dorm I went with for the night. His mom is hillarious... she definately flipped off the Winthrop mascot... and even if it doesn't represent Liberty well at a secular school, I loved it.

My moment would be against Winthrop ... but it was at Vines as the clock clicked off the final seconds. That was ultra-sweet.

This has the potential of being a VERY SHORT thread...

I would agree with the Wintrop game. But mine would be yesterdays as it brought an end to a horrible season that started in LAST year's BSC Tournament and our stinker there. Wonder if this will be a trend

Let me guess, AG. You only posted so you could try out the emoticon. Am I right?

My favorite moments this season were 3 times when Larry got in a zone that made him unstoppable. The end of UNCA, the whole HPU game and the Winthrop game. 33, 38, and 37 points respectively. It wasn't so much the point total but the way he seemed to be unstoppable. Great show indeed. I have not watched any of the games yet on TV (tape of course) but I am looking forward to it.

I'm still workin on AG
well, I def think it would be the WU but not only that, but all the magical performances that LB put on, I am still trying to figure out how a few of those shots went down

Just making a joke guys, out of a VERY long year. In all seriousness, the best moment might have been when the clock hit 0:00 last night, so now the re-tooling and re-LOADING can seriously begin. I expect great things (8 wins) out of football, and a top 3 finish in the league for basketball.
Sly, at least I didn't talk about how the season was in the crapper

I have a feeling he is gonna join that elite 40 point club (maybe even break Alston's record). I do think that 38 point performance was my favorite. He just carried the team on his back that night

Best TV moment

Giving a shout out to flamefans.com members was great for me and yes and it only took me an entire season to get that in GRM! Plus my boy D (Medid) didn't even hear it. I gave his real name and his screen name too! I will have to get some dvd's made and when I do I will have a viewing party

(don't be surprised if some old footage pops up). Really though I really do need to watch some tape and see where I can improve. NO SMART COMMENTS HERE. I lobbed that softball out there I know. I think the best moments on TV were the coaches at half time. You never know what those guys are gonna say. RD had some good stuff and I had a great time interacting with other coaches like Bidenbaugh and Marshall. I was told by a few people after the UNCA game that I said something about a "stinkin rebound" that struck them funny. Next season maybe we will have a promo that invites fans to join in our discussions. That would drive up the traffic here I think although the word is spreading fast.

Mine would definitely have to be the Winthrop game. After that Larry's great performances as mentioned in the WU game, UNC-A, and High Point, but also in the Buffalo game there was a stretch at the end of the first half when he was amazing on both ends of the court. It was also fun to beat Longwood even though we should beat them every time we play them.

I had to think aweful hard for this one. The win over Winthrop stands out but since we got killed by 40 two weeks later that would appear to be a wash (possibly a fluke win for us). The only other one was playing tough vs Mississippi State in the San Juan Shootout but then turning around the very next day and loosing to a scrub team like Mt St Mary's seemed to take that accomplishment away. A season to forget about that is for sure.
Best moment was daydreaming about Marshall like this.......

of course I missed it- the story of my life. Is that game archived on the LightOnline yet?

Are they archiving the TV games? I didn't know that. I gave you a shout on the radio way back. I can't even remember which game but I didn't do a lot of those games so they should be able to figure it out.

No video archive that I know of... GMTM may know which game it was on radio... but if it was W&M it may be a problem... someone forgot to save the recording... not going to say who, but it rhymes with PUTAFINGERINTHEDIKE.

yeah- sore subject there. The radio shout out was NOT recorded compliments of Mr Holeinmyhead but he's very sensative so we won't say anything about it.
and your're right- I can never remember which is archived, video or audio. From what I see its just the audio stuff. Oh well- I'm sure my ego will survive.

Relax Medic, I will show it to you when you visit Stately Scarborough Manor. I am going to get some DVD's pressed out next week when I am back in the Burg full time again. When you and Mrs 2B come down we can watch all 50 hours of the season! I am sure Mrs SCAR would love that

Ok HMO but you have to watch my old games with the short shorts too. See if you can see yourself in the background running around as a little tyke.

I'd like to see that one- little HMO in a sailor suit w/ a big lollypop sticking outta his mouth, looking like the Cracker Jack kid.

Me and the girlfriend liked to see that guy with the cowbell from the spirit band. I even read that ole Jerry gave it a try. Anybody know if he'll be back next year?
