McKay heads to Liberty, replaces Dunton

Former New Mexico coach Ritchie McKay was named the next head coach at Liberty University, the university announced.
"He brings with him a wealth of experience that will allow our basketball program to move to the highest level,'' Liberty athletics director Jeff Barber said.
Barber said officials at the evangelical Christian university were impressed by McKay's credentials.

For the record, ESPN's story had been updated since it was posted originally. They used some fresh quotes etc.

It seems like everyone has a stong opinion on Coach McKay, some good & some bad, but it's entertaining to read (warning--expect several "cartwheel" references).
