I started a FlameFans.com bracket pool on Facebook. If you're on Facebook and want in, add me as a friend or let me know who you are via a PM. If you're not on Facebook, make it happen already.

Would not expect LUconn to be much concerned with brackets outside of the NIT this year.

The NCAA Tourney. Sorry, I should have specified.

Oh, and did I mention Facebook is giving away $25,000 prizes out as part of the bracket competition?

Hey, take good care of Leito for me, he's only a rental. We'll need him in good condition when Calhoun retires.

Technically most of us on here shouldn't be in the pool because by donating to the school like we have, we fit the criteria of an NCAA booster for life...But Count me in for the 25 grand!!

I was thinking that too, but I think boosters are allowed to be in NCAA pools.

If I win $25k and the NCAA is able to put me together as a member of the FlameFans booster package AND a member of Facebook, well then I'll pin a rose on their nose.

Boosters are OK. It's athletes and employees that have the problem.

Straight From Compliance...

If you are aware of any staff members, student-athletes, student-workers or any other individuals directly involved with Liberty athletics please ask them to IMMEDIATELY remove themselves from any involvement with these pools or any other type of sports wagering. I know these pools may seem innocent but they are not. Last year, two student-athletes at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga lost their intercollegiate eligibility due to their involvement in these pools. The year prior to that, 4 coaches and administrators at the University of Washington lost their jobs for the exact same reason.

Contact Mredith Hollyfield or Mike Hagen (582.2116) with questions

Facebook brackets are now live! Be sure to fill yours out by Thursday. If you start early you have until the deadline to go back and edit your picks.
