I could care less if he is or isn't (well maybe a little), can he fill up the hoop and play defense?

I cover Nigerians down here on a nearly daily basis in Houston. And one thing I have learned is to never guess a pronunciation. Wait til the athlete gives you their version of how they want it pronounced.

As I watch Scottie Reynolds drop 20 for Villanova at half time on UConn (sorry LUConn), I am reminded of the fact that he was given the opportunity to go to another school when he was in this situation. Scottie was bound for Oklahoma but when Kelvin Samson took the IU job and Jeff Capel was hired at OU, he asked to be released from his letter of intent and Capel obliged. Scottie could have gone to IU with Coach Samson (and Jeff Meyer - they are on TV now too but I am a Big East guy), he decided to head to Villanova. He may be freshman of the year in the Big East btw. I used to call high school ball in Northern VA when Scottie was a freshman at Herndon High. Scottie is also a good workout buddy of Brian Woodson....Long story short, this kid may decide NOT to come to Liberty.

Its too early for speculation on his status. I have a feeling how the new coaching staff shakes out will have a major impact on his presence on the mountain.

Hopefully the new coach will follow the Rocco model and keep some of the assistants in place, especially since it seems that they were just able to open the Nigerian talent pipeline (according to the articles from the signee threads.)
