another interesting point by Coach about it taking Larry all year to figure out how to lead this team due to personalities.

am glad he's figuring it out now, though

How bout Brew not taking an official shot? That has to be a first in his career. Good win. That one was for a lot of us that were tired of LU not getting it done in the Dedmon Center! I was on the bench in a suit the last time that happened!

Gonna be tough for VMI at HPU. I think UNCA finishes in the 5th seed and VMI comes into the Vines on Tuesday.

We get 3rd and will still probably have to play VMI. That's our luck.

Championship game or bust.

Do you really want to play a UNCA team coming off two road wins?

I don't know. I just know that VMI in the first round is a nightmare.

I'm sure nothing will come easy - but we (the Flames) can do it!

I'm about to see Tyler Baker's "huge" three at the end of the half (according to TBGBG).

just getting back from radford, and i must say the first half was very lethargic...no energy out there, but the second half the guys turned up the intensity and got it done. LB did not have the best shooting night, but he did what was necessary to help get the win. ACE played very well and smitty made some timely shots as well. we had a nice LU contingent in the stands along with our AD jeff barber. the killer B's group was there in force and did a great job, but some of their signs were pretty weak. cant wait for the game tuesday night.

Dear Will Matthews,

If we play VMI, I ask you to please change your West Point Reject signs to the following:

Citadel Rejects

Signed,

The Fat Kid

Just got back from Radford...(the game was over quite a while ago, but we spent some time at a friend's house). Had to be one of the most boring games I've ever watched. I don't know if it was just because the student atmosphere at the Dedmon Center
was dead or it was because the last game we played before this one was against VMI. None-the-less we won! Here are some observations:

As much as we complain about people not showing up and lack of student support, we have it good when it comes to Radford. There were a good amount of people there, but they were all old. They had a few students standing and all, but they weren't loud. One kid dressed up like Jesus. We made a sign for him that said "Jesus was skinny." We also had some signs that said RU=Alcoholics, Dance Team=Beer Bellies, We Have Football, and Gas: $17, Tickets: $20, Clinching 3rd Seed @ Radford: Priceless. We also made some new Killer B signs that will be in attendance for Tuesday night's game. Can't wait to beat the Keydets for a third time (hopefully!)

Reviewing the game fortunately for us Radford just wants to get this season and its soap opera over with. Lame duck coach, horrible team chemistry, odd ball administration. Glad we got them when we did.
Now can we beat VMI three times? We should!
