That's the official name for what's happening on Saturday morning. From 11:30-1:30 they will be serving hot dogs and a combo of other sides (I'm not 100% sure what they are yet). Resident students will be able to swipe their LibertyOne card for food and they're working on how to handle commuters or those without meal plans. You'll be able to come in and eat in the Vines, and then stay for the game.
Coach called this Feeding the 5000 when he thought of it a week or so ago, so our goal is to get 5000 in the Vines on Saturday.

That's pretty clever...
...now will that be 5000 by head count or 5000 by LU count? 5000 by LU count could either be about 3700 real people or 6300 real people.

Too bad Chick-Fillet or KFC isn't feeding the 5000. Will serving hot dogs from the ROT really bring fans to the game?

Chic-Fil-A doesn't draw either. See Club, Student Flames (Football Season, 2006).

Yea, let's complain about who we get for a promotion that was thought of and set up in less than a week.
Serving food from the Rot helped with Spring Game numbers.
All that matters is to get the kids there. Hopefully they'll stay once they're there.

Does anyone know if theyre still serving at the rot on Sat? Idk why but I thought they did that one time to get people to go to a football game, and really if the only option is to go to a game to get food wed easily get 5000

I think they're still having lunch at the Rot, but encouraging kids to come to the Vines.

Like SJ said the rot is still going to be open.. The athletic department really helped us on getting this done and hopefully we will be able to get alot of students out for the doubleheader.

Now THAT is a GOOD marketing suggestion!
on ANY game day- the ONLY place to eat is at the venue
we'll have 15k at every FB game and capacity at Vines, not to mention baseball and soccer.
GENIUS, sir.
Pure gold.
(Despite that fact that you're from Jersey)
