Coach Rocco still called Charlottesville home; Coach Karcher was still working for a living--in Lynchburg.

Jeff Myer was still as the University of Missouri.

Brett O'Donnell was still our Director of Debate.

Sparky wasn't even born yet.

Many of our college freshmen weren't even driving cars yet.

I was in still college, and have since graduated, got married, got a job

I believe the much thicker common thread there is that 3 of those happened all at once and well before JB came on board. Also, I'm not completely positive but I'm thinking that Fish was not "fired" per se.

It's a statement that makes you think "wow, that seems like a long time ago". Not something that makes you immediately think, "oh, that was only a year and a half ago" Also it's gotta be something national. Not your personal life that we don't care about.
