unless there's some reason he'd specifically be looking at WU, I'd think CCU would be a pretty strong second choice for him.

excuse me, but I started a thread about this like a month ago when we were stuck on the old board. I said I bet he ends up as CCU. Go back and check the tape.

Buzz is the type that will want to give his team an immediate shot in the arm with a transfer so he himself can transfer the heck on out of there. Marshall can recuit and develop his own talent.

Jones Admitted To USC
By Phil Kornblut
6-8 Mike Jones said Friday night he had gained admission to USC allowing him to transfer from Syracuse. He could begin classes as early as Monday once the paperwork is completed. "I was excited to hear I was accepted to Carolina," Jones said. "I can't tell you how happy I am to be back in Columbia and in school as a Gamecock. I know I have a lot of work ahead of me, but I look forward to the challenges and opportunties." Jones was a high school All America at Lower Richland before signing with Syracuse. He played sparingly earlier this season for the Orangemen before deciding to transfer. He will be eligible to play for the Gamecocks after the first semester of next season.
