Picture of Marshall for those who like to make fun of him. Check out the front page of Espn.com.

And the Winthrop blurb from the article:
Winthrop [10-4 (4-0), RPI: 82, SOS: 231] How many more losses can Winthrop absorb and still be an at-large candidate? Only the committee knows, but I suspect the answer is "one." Eagles had four chances for a marquee win and couldn't get any of them, even though UNC (seven points) and Wisconsin (three in OT) were very close. Losing by 20 at Texas A&M in the final chance didn't help matters, nor does the weakness of the Big South.

Sad but true. With each game played, the RPI takes a nose dive. Say hello to a 15 seed. You guys are like our WBB team of the early 2000s. Only there's more chance of an upset on the men's side.

That's got to be a photoshopped pic: I've watched Greg Marshall coach for years, and I've never once seen that suit coat of his unbuttoned. In fact, I think he keeps in buttoned it his closet and then just slips it over his head when he's getting dressed, like a woman does with a dress.

That pic looks like it was taken when they played Tennessee last year.

I agree but currently bracketology has them as a 12seed vs. Texas.

The seed will still be determined on what happens, but if WU wins out or loses one, the worst seed they will get will most likely be a 13. They've done more this out of conference season than last year, and I would doubt they will lose 3 games in conference this year.
Not sure how you've never seen Marshall without his suit, he loves to rip it off and throw it whenever he's mad.

The Eagles better hope they don't get the Horns int he 1st Round. They are way too dangerous and Kevin Durant may be having the best season of any college player in the country right now (including Oden).
And I agree they really can't afford to lose more than a game to have a shot at an at-large. But frankly, they probably won't need to worry about that barring a shocking turn of events.

We are 310 in the RPI with the 257th ranked schedule.

Out of how many total D-1 teams?
I think RD is boarding on Hankinson's RPI numbers.

RPI includes SOS in the formula. No need to be redundant making it sound worse than it is.

Actually, 310 is slightly better than the last time I checked lol....oh wait....Winthrop is actually the reason we went up....not us lol

Yea there is: to point out that even with the cupcakes at the beginning of the season, we still suck.

but it's redundant. We're not ranked 310 and on top of that have the 257th SOS. We're ranked 310 partly BECAUSE our SOS is 257. I know it's semantics but the former assumes that the SOS wasn't taken into account in coming up with that number.

Either number you take, it's still pathetic.
