I will be there, but as of now in the St. Francis game, I might be in hiding!

After our game against St. Francis and their game against Pitt, my supply on Kool Aid is low.

This is why I don't drink nobody's Kool Aid. I will call it like I see it (now if I don;t see it I won;t pass no judgement and certainly won't go jumpin off a bridge just cuz we lost our first game with Dwight in teh lineup, unlike some people on this board apparently would like to

it will be tough beating Buffalo today. hopefully we keep it respectable. Buffalo almost beat Pittsburg.

Just because Buffalo played Pitt tough or Winthrop almost beat a team that is on TV all the time doesn't mean we can't win the game. Yes we will have to play well to go into hostile territory and win but we have the talent to do it IMO. Brew and the crew will get it going the more they play in games together. Tonight represents another opportunity to compete. I hope they are looking forward to the challenge.

I was typin a little fast so I must have missed the apostrophe key. Happens to me from time to time. This was the first time I didn't catch it before posting

seriously ladies, this is still buffalo. Did everybody hear that they played Pitt close so the neglected to look at the rest of the schedule? They've lost to Tulane, South Florida and Evansville. Actually, they got roasted by Evansville, by 30 points. I'm not saying they're no good, but anything less than winning will be extremely disappointing. There will be no "well, we kept it close with Buffalo! THE Buffalo!"

Great point LUconn, I watched that Pitt game on TV and Buffalo played very well, but anytime you have a top 5 time coming into your place you are going to play no holds bar... They will be an average team in the MAC this year and this is a game where if our O is moving around and getting good looks that we should win... Anytime we hold a team under 65 points we should win the game...

well in our next six games i expect we will win one game. as long as we show progress and cohesiveness i will be happy. these are some tough teams coming up, and we will really need to play well to win. so before anyone puts dunton's head on a platter, please look at the big picture. if we win more than one, then count it as a great gift. the big south schedule is all that matters.

I didn't think that was allowed at a place like LU :D

Tonight is a winnable game. Buffalo was averaging 20 plus turnovers a game before they played Pitt and they only turned it over 8 times. That game was their Superbowl though. They had it at home and they had a chance to knock off a top ranked opponent. That was the last time they played which was over a week ago so I suspect if we can force some turnovers and get out of the gate and play on top, we could win this thing. Not a gimme loss though like, say, Florida.

A true voice of reason.
The team learned how to win the first part of the season--and will learn how to play together between now and big south play.

This game's not televised via the internet is it?

Posted: December 18th, 2006, 3:45 pm

I would say probably not Kel. Not too many opportunities to see the Flames via the net except once on the road for the conference opener at UNCA and the rest of the home games except this Thursday VS. Lipscomb. FTN is not covering that game.

I'll be coming down for the Lipscomb game, Lord willing. :D

I'm not sure if I'll still be in town for that one. I may head home on Thursday.
