I heard Brew didn't show up for 3 straight practices and Coach D had to beg him to come back???

I was at practice yesterday and he did well...and let me tell you this, LB stepped up yet again in some drills and really put his group on his back

Practice is the best thing to attend, b/c after sitting through a few of them you realize why some players just don't get any PT when they have so much potential in the world...it's like they just don't think at times and their name is being yelled every 5 minutes simply b/c they are messing up drills and plays

Although he didnt attend the last game and Coach D texted him and found out he was studying for a final

ohhh yeah, buck may need to get coach of the year in the BS b/c the teams GPA is the highest its been and Brew (who was a worry at first) is going to finish with a GPA around 3.5 or 3.6....pretty good

After he has sat out nearly a year to play here? I doubt it. If so, he would have done this before hand.

Brew showed up in Coach's office on Tuesday ecstatic because he finished his finals and was eligible. I doubt he's going to miss a bunch of practices after that.

No way does he wait a year to sit out and then pulls this right as he's eligble to play.

I was at practice Tuesday and he was there ... looked pretty good to boot. I'm heading out again today. I assume he'll be there, or the Brewington-is-finally-eligible-to-play story I'm writing for Saturday will look really stupid.

I didn't mean this week... I had heard it happened in the last week or 2.

Shouldn't a coach know about this before the game?

I don't believe in the worst in Brew. I'm looking forward to him playing, I think all of us are. Most, if not all, believe Brew is going to be a great asset to this team.

As for the coach, there are different opinions, but it's not "counterproductive" to discuss something that is very important to the success of Liberty's basketball program.

Nobody is singing any Vanilla Ice songs though. Just you.

He knew finals were an issue just not when...but come on...its brew! First home game of the year he's going to be lowered from the ceiling right before tip

A "Raising up" instead of lowering down would be more appropriate.

he probably missed practice once, it was probably approved by the coaching staff...someone said brew wasn't there, it turns into a rumor....and rumors spread fast here at Liberty...very fast

Well, Brew is slated to play tommorrow night, and on Wednesday I went and watched the practice and he was with Larry, Alex, Anthony and Damien at one end with Coach going through drills. So, I'd say that's the starting five tommorrow night. As long as he's playing, it doesn't matter.
