To those “fans” around here that believe that Cleveland is an “elite athlete” and hecan score at anytime he wants. I believe he had 6 turnovers and zero points. His athletic ability was not good enough to get past the more athletic defenders that he had to deal with. Anyone can look good against NAIA, NCCAA, D2 level opponents. Then, competing against a real basketball team that was not even ranked in the top25 is totally different.

Instead of arguing with your constant negative Nancy attitude, half of D1 would love to be where we are.

I get your overall point, but it seems Liberty isn’t interested in doing what they need to do to invest in improving athletics. If it really bothers you that much, go root for someone else.

You must be such a miserable person.

Oh no. Actually my life is grand. I get to do a lot of things that I love to do. God has allowed me to do them in a regular basis. Not sure about you. I don’t like people saying delusional point of views. It’s not how we should live.

Since you cannot handle the truth and facts that bring out, you decided to attack me as a person. You know nothing about me. I could care less what you are or doing.

You're right about that, and academics overall for that matter.

I'm not sure college athletes is a good use of money anymore for most universities. Its broken if you ask me.

Wow. Where do I even start with this circus of hot takes? Go ahead — argue semantics, attack personalities, or whine about the system all you want. News flash: this is still a Christian university whose primary mission is to build champions for Christ. None of your keyboard complaints change that reality. Talent, preparation, and smart investment are what actually matter. Cleveland, Taelon, Bevins-level GMs — they exist because they earned it, not because some forum armchair quarterback decrees otherwise.

So maybe take a deep breath, pour yourself a coffee, and realize this: pointing out flaws doesn’t make someone a “negative Nancy.” It makes them competent enough to actually see what’s going on.
