The team is playing the best they have all season and i think they have another level they are just starting to scratch. KSU is still a tough matchup but I'm feeling as good as I've felt about our guys all year.

Every game from here on out is the biggest game of the season! March madness baby!

The Flames are getting dominated physically. I hope this is a tale of two halves.

First half beatdown. Out shot, out rebounded, out assisted, out coached. Kennesaw has our number in multiple sports.

Edit: 9 minutes left, game over. I think what burns long time fans such as myself (back to the early 90s) is the amount of resources poured into these athletic programs contrasted with results such as today. Pathetic.

Edit 2: Happy to be 100% completely wrong on this one. Wow, what a comeback. Matheny was lights out near the end. Tremendous win given the start.

Not a great first half but they've kept it in reach. Lets see how they adjust in the second half.

Second, I’m gunna beat this dead horse, if we lose it’s because of free throws.

I am happy to report we in fact did not lose because of free throws. What an incredible comeback.

Guilty. I'm still recovering from the "typical Liberty" days of old.

I waited to come on here until after game. Was thinking we were going to have tons of people jumping ship at half... Only one. Then he got back on board.

I have been saying this all season - The ASUN is much better then everyone gave them credit for. KSU is a GREAT team - they will be favorites next year, IF they can keep their 2 freshman (Which is a longshot).

I thought this would be our toughest matchup, and hope that championship comes much easier...

Poor coaching down the stretch by KSU. With LU’s FT issues should have gone for the quick 2’s and foul. Make LU prove themselves from the line. Not complaining ill take it. LU looked like crap for 32 minutes. Hopefully this will wake them up.
RMK really wants this Tournament win. Did you see him jumping up and down after Matheny hit his second 3? Never seen him that fired up. I wonder if hes got a chip on his shoulder after the All Conference snubs

I’m gonna give Yates some flowers real quick. He played 17 minutes today and made multiple threes. Huge to have a guy come off the bench and play that well in this game.

As a Flames fan...wow! Incredible, March Madness basketball game. What a great group to keep fighting and believing. Regardless of the outcome of games, this team perfectly compliments the mission of LU and they are easier to cheer for!

As a basketball fan, we had 0 business winning this one! KSU looked like the better team. More physical, more athletic, more disciplined at the FT line and in the first half more hungry. KSU is a tough matchup for us physically with 2 tough, quick guards and athletic wings that out maneuver our "bigs" for loose balls. It took some bad basketball (hero ball by Metheny) to close the gap and eventually propel LU to the W. I am not complaining. some days that is what it takes and we needed it.

On to the next one! What a season!

who do we want next? JSU or MTSU? I could go either way.... Feel like MTSU is playing better right now and their center hurt us last time.

I feel we are a better matchup with MTSU. Mostafa had a great game against us in last time out but he is slow and we can run him off the boards if we commit to it.

Jax athleticism is an issue for us.

Jax St wins 70-68.

We again won in spite of poor FT shooting, but this time it was our 3 best; Porter, Metheny and Peter who went a combined 4-10 while Cleveland and Aquino were 6-8.

How big was that last second dunk by Cleveland at the end of the half? We may never know, but it totally changed the mood going into the locker room after playing a pretty poor first half.
