We're built to spread the ball and the scoring, which is how I'd rather have it. Last night? Peter couldn't miss and his movement at all levels was too much for MTSU to keep up with. I continue to believe that our best offensive performances occur with Porter, Metheny and Peter are the guard trio. A combo of Aquino/Cleveland or Aquino/Maughmer for the other two. Shutting down both Peter and Metheny is a tall order for any team.
He’s easily the most efficient scorer on the team partly because of his selectivity but I think it hurts the team that he’s not in even more and handling the ball more and shooting more. Obviously he just dropped 33 so I’m not criticizing his performance yesterday, but other games he plays a bit too passive. Just my uneducated thoughts.
