We obviously can win out but that will be incredibly difficult. After this week, JSU plays at Liberty, at FIU, and Kennesaw at home.NMSU leads Jax St 35-23 at the half.

FIU at home is as close as we will get to a sure thing in this conference, which actually scares me a little. Just get the W.You got any good lottery numbers to play?
Jax St has 2 at home this week (NMSU and UTEP). Nobody has beaten them there so far, but I just have a hunch that may change.

We just need to go make it happen.Be careful what you wish for. The distinct possibility of playing Sam in the quarterfinals is scary. They are playing as well as anyone in the league right now. Other options are not much better. The balance/depth of the league is ridiculous.

We have made big strides toward where we need to be this year, thanks to Coach McKay recognizing what our weaknesses were and recruiting the likes of Maughmer, Aquino, Ihnen, and Peter. We have been much more competitive all season long. I am confident we will continue to grow literally and figuratively.some are watching. We are a very short team, with questionable athleticism at many positions. Did anyone watch the BYU/Kansas game the other night? I ask, because theoretically, we should be able to recruit with BYU. They are a long/athletic team.
I don't believe an all-star team from the C-USA could finish in the top half of a P4 conference.
I am a huge fan of Coach McKay. I believe he is perfect for LU. I just don't understand why we can't recruit big, talented, athletic players. We only need 9 good players, football you need 50, baseball 20, etc.

We can’t compete with that.I don’t think Dr. Falwell would have liked hearing “we can’t”. What needs to happen for us to compete with BYU if needed?

olldflame wrote: ↑February 22nd, 2025, 5:21 pmThat isn’t something you can just recruit like a QB in the portal. The people that throw tens of millions of dollars at a university are almost always alumni that feel an obligation to the school because they feel like they wouldn’t be in that kind of financial position without the school. LU has a decent number of successful musicians, politicians and athletes on their alumni list but no billionaires to my knowledge.Ill flame wrote: ↑February 22nd, 2025, 12:11 pmIntriguing concept.
