Deja Vu?

I expect a closer game this time. A remtach it always tougher on the winner of the 1st, not to mention this game is away.

wish Loretto was closer. Yeah- the guys are gonna face a bigger challenge visiting then at home, for sure.

Plus, no one likes to drop 2 to ANYBODY in the same season. Anyone else find it a bit odd that we ended up with these guys on the sched like that this year- esp so close together?

Not odd but a little unusual. We have home and homes the same season with Longwood as well. Usually home and homes take place during consecutive seasons, like Marist and Buffalo. Scheduling is difficult as we have talked about on this board on occasions. Sometimes you have to take what you can get when both teams need games to fill out the schedule.

Me and TBGBG are talking about going to this game, we just don't know how we're gonna get there, and that's a problem. I don't trust my car to go up there and he's driving a rental right now.

Yeah we need to get up there... but i dont see it being much different from the first time cause we will be playing with BREW!!!!

That's the reason I wanna go, we just don't have a car to take.

I wouldn't mind going myself but lack of funds and a reliable car kills that.

Anyway that it's going to be broadcast over the net?

No it wont be :( apparently, St. Francis got sidetracked with getting that done during the GREAT DEPRESSION

We should be able to beat them even at their place. I say, with Brew added to the mix, that more than offsets having to play them a 2nd time and at their place. Our guys will be pumped up to have Brew on the court.

How many points will brew score in his debut? I'll say 14.

i'll give him 15

I say 12, shooting 4-20 or something not good like that. 4 assists and 6 TOs. I really need to see him come out like a banshee before I'll believe there's no rust.

i expect some rust, but he shouldn't have to shoot that poorly

I'm gonna say Brew gets 8-10 points. I think he'll get in foul trouble.

wow... you guys just don't know this guy, so i'll cut you some slack on that. i know he won't have 6 to's and he won't be 6-20. he doesn't even shoot that much, and he's a player with a high IQ and wont keep shooting if he is shooting that bad

Frankly, this game and the Buffalo game will tell alot about our team. I know that it is Brewskys's first game, but we have to be able to play well on the road, and win on the road to even think about a BSC championship. This should be a "w", but you never know.

I don't think this game will tell us much about them, unless they lose. St. Francis really wasn't very good. Even with home court advantage combined with the revenge factcor, we should be able to win handidly.

Buffalo is no walk in the park...I'd like to see them against WU, I think they would give them all they could handle and then some

St Fran to me means more b/c we know how we did against them at home....now they're at their place and ticked off they lost that game to us when they controlled the first part of it

That is what I meant. All I was saying is that we need to play well. Many times in many years we have played great at home, and then looked like the bad news bears on the road. I agree about Buffulo, and I will be going to check Brewsky out.

The boys at WU regard Buffalo as average or less than average.

At best

Feel free to browse their board

Buffalo is an average team if that, based on the results so far. They did impress by losing by three at home to Pitt, but their wins at home are against terrible teams, and they lost by 20 to Tulane, who CSU took to the wire.

Maybe my "average" is different than yours though.

I am looking forward to just listening to this game tonight. We really need to get a win to continue the high level of confidence going into Buffalo. The more we beat up on St. Francis(pa) the better I feel since the guys need to feel like they can dominate a team that is much less talented.

Hey Will, or someone else, I don't care, someone text message me updates. A really good friend of mine is having a concert or something tonight and she asked me to come so I'll be there instead of listening to it. My number's 336-830-1077.
