We have talked about this before but I think this is the right time for us to do this.
People question the intentions of others on this board. They say that some people don't support the team or whatever.
The old saying is "Put your money where your mouth is." If we want to be known as the biggest group of Liberty athletics supporters then I think we should do that.
I'm not familiar with PayPal but I'm sure someone on here is (or I could figure it out). I say we should go for at least the $250 level. There are at least 25 of us on here that post regularly and if each person gave $10 then we would be at that level. Not only would it reaffirm that everyone on here supports the programs of the school, but it will also guarantee us a tailgating spot during football season.
Man up, donate $10, and let's support the team by more than typing words on a message board.
I'm in, who else will be?

By the way, if this turns into a Dunton war I will delete this thread faster than I can eat a taco from Taco Bell. This thread should be nothing but positive.

I found out how PayPal works. It'll take up to a week for me to get an account set up though. I can set one up if that'll be the easiest for everyone.

We can do better than $250.
What are the rules for a group joining? Surely the same benefits can't apply as individuals making the same contributions.
Let's aim high, and I won't put a dollar amount on my donation until we see how we're doing. If a ten-spot is all it takes, you've got it. If we want to go big, I'm in for more.
If individuals can pony up $250, we can do a lot better.

I don't know the deal on groups. I was just saying $250 because it's a reasonable goal seeing as some people on here are already Flames Club members on their own.

But if need be I will take 10 from Mrs Purple and donate it. She REALLY doesn't need ANYTHING else from QVC

Im in. SJ you want to try and collect from those here in Lynchburg at a game on certain payments methods Paypal will charge you a fee.

If we can collect at a game that'd be great. Other's could just mail me a check or something I guess if that works better.

Hey, more money for athletics. That's what I like to hear.
(Can you tell that I may one day be doing this for a living?)

Very nicely done, SJ. Count me in based on siphoning money from Christmas Cards before Mrs. Sly checks the mail.
