Lots of mis-information about this game. Several websites have the game being played @ Liberty. See here...

https://sportsbookwire.usatoday.com/art ... ng-trends/

Read the article. Says "The Liberty Flames (27-8) aim to extend an 18-game home win streak when they host the Wisconsin Badgers (18-14) on Sunday, March 19, 2023 at TBA ET."

ESPN had Liberty as the #2 seed... which is probably why there is confusion.

My location is Chicago western suburbs. I'm only 2 hours away!
I've never had an opportunity to see a Liberty basketball or football game. Ever!
So this is a great location for me and excited to go. Now I need to find people who want to attend the game with me!

Flames Club email just confirmed that the game is at WI. It would've been great to host it at the Lil' Arena, the Kids would've been back for it.

Just bought 100 Level General Admission tickets.
Going with a friend who lives 5 minutes from me (Batavia IL) who has a daughter at Liberty on a Track scholarship.

Hopefully Liberty fans, alumni, parents etc. who live within a few hours of Madison WI plan to make the drive and attend. The Badgers play in a large complex with 17,000 seats and average home attendance this season is 13,466.

Fortunately for us most big ten fans view the NIT as a failed season and only 3900 people went to Wisconsins first round game. I'm sure more will go on Saturday but they aren't coming close to selling out.

Yeah, watched a lot of that first game. It was a TOMB. They’re so miffed to be in NIT. Weekend might be a little better.

If Wisconsin plays their game, this is where LU’s run ends.

It is Spring Break so everybody left town. Some will be back Sunday but half full seems likely. I was really hoping they would be playing here in LYH. That would have been fun.

As soon as I saw the matchup, you were the first person that came to my mind.

If we somehow pull off the win in Madison (great city BTW), then we get the UCF-Oregon Winner. If UCF were to pull off another upset after trouncing Florida last night, we theoretically could be hosting one more game. Otherwise it is a VERY long flight to Eugene. The semifinals and championship are in Vegas.

But first, the Badgers who must have been feeling it with their 11-1 start with just a one-point loss to Kansas on their resume one game into the New Year. Then BAM! came conference play. They have a strong wins on their resume and a ton of talent on their roster. We will have to play a better than we did against Nova to beat them. The good news is that defense travels.

Got my tickets via email today. Looks like I was awarded the first two tickets in Section 120, Row A seats 1-2 directly behind the Liberty bench! So excited!

I promise to keep my shirt on and behave myself!

Not a fan of thuggish basketball this weekend. Refs need to get the game under control. Like Tenn. against Duke yesterday and just about every Big Ten game I've watched, it seems there are so many offensive fouls early and often that refs let it become the norm. If you want to brawl, play hockey or football.

Big ten refs call games completely different than the rest of the country which is partially why the B1G struggles so much in march. They go all season being able to get away with murder in the paint. That's what I'm used to watching so it gets frustrating when refs call fouls every time up and down the court.

Wisconsin is more interested in this game than I thought they’d be
LU is doing a good job so far matching and dealing with the physical play
Wisconsin is going to just try to wear down and grindLU

There is a foul every time the ball gets into the paint for Wisconsin. I'm not sure what we can do about that.

Don’t reach for the ball? Excellent defense last time down. Stay on your feet and keep your arms up. They’ve called it consistently on both sides when guys are bringing the arms down
Porter’s basketball IQ is outstanding

They score when we don't foul so I'm back to not knowing what the answer is.

Whatever happened to Richie doubling bigs? At this point that’s the only way we’re going to stop them.
