What an opportunity. Nova is fully healthy with Justin Moore returning. If he played a full season, Nova is in the tournament. It sucks that the students are on spring break, hopefully the ones that are close by show up in big numbers.

Having this game at home against a team that only has a day to scout us makes me optimistic. It'll be a tough game but that's what the post season is all about.

Every time there's a big game on campus, in any sport, students are on break. :dontgetit

What is the best "program" to ever play AT Liberty?

I remember away games AT UCLA, Wake, UVA, G-town, etc, but can't think of any of those types ever playing at LU. I'm newer to the school though, so my memory doesn't go back as far as some of yours.

I would say mizzou is up there. They have struggled since the riots but they are a historically solid P5 program.

This is easily the bluest blood to ever come to our campus. Three-time National Champs with two of those titles coming in the last seven years can't be matched.

Virginia Tech?!

Missouri is up there

Unless I’m mistaken, there’s never been a program with a DI natty in LU’s building.

It’s Nova and it’s not particularly close. They aren’t just the best program to play in Lynchburg, they’re arguable the best program in college basketball period over the past decade.

Prior to Nova, I am thinking it was probably Houston (no Nattys, but about as good as you can be without any).

Very cool for the school to have Nova at Liberty Arena. As others have already said - I wish it would have happened when the students were there.

Missouri
Tech
Houston (When we hosted one of the tournament’s)

This is going to be the biggest one. It’s a blue blood.

Made sure my tickets were secure this morning before they got turned over for GA offerings. Villanova seems like a tough draw. They have some length at the guard position, which is part of what we struggled with at times this year, including against KSU.

Color me shocked…How are we a 3.5 point favorite???
This is a tough matchup. Nova is a solid team that is now healthy

Allegedly two of their starters are gametime decisions due to injuries.

It’s speculated that Moore and Whitmore are going to sit out and prepare for the draft. Whitmore is a projected lottery pick.

It's always been a dream or fantasy of mine that pro teams would hold it against athletes for abandoning their teammates in these games. I know. I know. But for our sake, I hope they don't play tomorrow and are working out hard for NBA scouts.

Looks like each of them have missed a lot of games over the season. Probably have decent fill-ins. Lost a lot of games by a few points each with a pretty tough schedule. My guess they're probably a more talented team than we are. Home court and grit is what we offer.
