I was hoping queens would pull off the upset so we get home court advantage the rest of the way. If we win this one I would like to think we would get an at large bid even with another loss. We don't have a good win on the resume but almost every advanced metric has us as a top 40ish team.

Queens had many opportunities to win that game. They fell apart in the last 5-ish minutes. Meanwhile, EKU eviscerated a hot UNA team. They're playing better basketball than when we last saw them at Liberty Arena.

I hope the Boys will be ready for an EKU Hack Attack tomorrow. They were bad the last time we played them. I, also am hoping for and would be surprised if Lippy does us a favor and knocks off Kenny St.

Teams have been VERY physical with Darius this year and for the most part have gotten away with it. Last night against Bellarmine was the first night I've felt like Darius was able to find some space, granted how do you lock down someone that just crossed halfcourt? But, I FULLY expect EKU to target Darius physically. If we are going to win the game, we will have to see contributions from CP0, Rode and Preston/Robinson.

A few encouraging things to me last night were that CP0 was attacking the rim with more courage. Venzant and Warfield also were getting involved in the offense and taking shots if they were wide open. Both of them have a shot - and both are extremely athletic, so we will need them to continue to progress on the offensive end to win this tourney.

No, and I'm a little surprised. I need to call the ticket office in the morning to see what the delay is.

I had to call the Ticket Office and then they texted the tickets to me.

Texting is how I got my baseball ticket yesterday. Today, they emailed me my basketball tickets.

Agreed. Also, the importance of Kyle Rode's dagger late in the second half can't be overstated. also a big 3 late in the first half - clutch-time shots.
