A Sea Of Red

As I've told some people, I've been having the hardest time getting excited about basketball this year. I've been trying my hardest as I absolutely love college basketball (even moreso than football) and I just couldn't get excited. I couldn't care less about the team.



I heard the reports from Saturday night, I watched part of the game last night, and I did, um, research, on Longwood's team.


Can I jump on the bandwagon or is it too late? I'm excited. I've taken a 2-3 week break after football and now I've fully switched over to basketball prank mode.


With that being said, if anyone has access to any of the following, it'd be great if I could borrow it:

PVC pipe (or some type of pipe)
A fishing pole
Clothes pins
A giant clock
Viking horns
A beach ball
One of those big long plastic horns (I could just bring my trombone...)



Also, any ideas for the OFFICIAL SuperJon costume will be taken.

By the way, if you have an idea for a prank to pull, PM me. I don't want Longwood fans reading our board and learning of the pranks before I actually pull them.


Or we could turn the LUnatics board into an "LU Only" board and post ideas there.

Would I even be allowed to bring a fishing pole into the game?

hey SJ, do you have a crew coming with you? we need some people in the stands and some guys that arent shy to stand up and jump around. it seems like everyone just sits the whole game.

we need to find a way to get the students to wear red. maybe that would help attendance, a free red t-shirt give away. or have a red out or white out. make an official event or something. the bball attendance has been sad. last nights girls game was pretty full though. they deserve it

Winning and giving crap away is the only way to get people there.

As for a "crew" - I'm basically coming by myself like I did to football games.

Class at 11:30. I wake up at 10 so that I have enough time to check a few websites and take a shower before leaving at 11. Seriously, I wake up earlier to check this board.

I was at the dentist, AGAIN, so I got a late start- but yup- we're busy early around here.

I just started going PAMedic with my posting about two months ago. Before that, I kind of had it under control. Now that I have no laptop, it's harder to post in class (then again, this class is in a computer lab).

We're just showing final project videos today, but I'm required to watch them.

Could you get away with doing the same prank you did during football? It would be much more visible and embarrasing at a basketball game. I noticed it has been done at some large schools during basketball games. It's become a relatively famous prank in recent years.

People know about it, so unless a team is absolutely stupid then there's no way I could pull it off again.

No Smoothie in the house on Sat? I was gonna ask you to go to VMI with me for their 1 PM game and then head back for Liberty. A Big South Double header like last year. HMO, or anyone else that wants to go, holla at me. I know SJ will be too busy with planning and such.
