I don't mind mid-major, it's a legitimate term. It's low-major that is not a word.

If the shoe fits! Heck, if Medic was an officer in the Army he'd be considered a Low Major.

Also noticed future non conference opponents Oral Roberts and Buffalo are on the list. The Buffalo game should be a good one with Brew

I have been counting the days. I saw him play in person when he was at Providence. It was when PC had Gomes and McGrath. Gomes played so lazy that night. I am surprised he has made the NBA. Besides McGrath getting lucky on 3's that night, I thought Brew played the best for PC all around that night. Liberty is so fortunate to have him and TJ to watch over the next two years. I only hope Brew sticks around for his senior year????

I am also liking that we get to play a few teams that are currently ranked and some that are getting votes, especially since most of those games are on the road. That is where i think our biggest challenge will be.....

found it interesting that Lip-scum is ranked behind us. If only by a vote or 3.

You guys in all likelihood have Gregg Marshall to thank for, for the majority of your votes.
I knew you would love that.

we'll try our best to repay his new-found confidence in us by beating the tar outta you guys at least once this year. Preferrably in the BSOUTH tourney

is Marist really any good? They were terrible a few years ago. Is this even a real poll?

Marist pg was the country's assist leader last season....they beat us

Marist was picked by alot of publications to win the MAAC this year. They've had a pretty good year so far...they beat a solid ODU team.
As for the mid-major poll, it's as real as any other poll...it's voted on by 'mid-major' coaches and they seem to take it as seriously as they would any other poll (whether that is good or not is up for debate).
