Another one we could easily lose. Our 2nd half play is suspect and our conference mates all know it.

It’s so strange how we consistently look like a dumpster fire in the second half.
Hopefully finally blowing a game with a big lead because of a sloppy second half with remedy the issue.

The turnovers seem to be more prevalent as time goes by in the game. It seems as though we don't value the ball as much as we did last year.

On a side note, just watched UVa play the cow college of Virginia. Cavs led at half and lost by a larger margin. I was amazed at how similarly we play to Bennett's team, even down to the ugly turnovers.

I missed growling after every basket.

They're giving us the 10 foot jumper in the key and none will take it.

We don’t know how to make a basket in the paint!
How many times are we going to fail under the basket. You can’t get any closer to the hoop yet we keep missing down there. Unable to muscle it in.

Another brick-layers union meeting by our bigs. Only one scoring threat is a much easier team to defend.

Embarrassing.

Well we kind of stink right now. Hope they figure out how to go against a 1-3-1. That was brutal.

We played ok until they went to a 1-3-1 and we had no clue whatsoever. Our bigs were awful.

Is the prerequisite to being a broadcaster now that you have to talk like a pirate after key moments?
Decent play by play guys but that excitement voice is dreadful

Yea, was going to ask if we got out coached? Seemed like it. I guess we will be ready for zone next time...

I think North Florida made something like four 3-pointers in a row late in the second half. LU had absolutely no answer for that.

I feel like if you’re consistently losing in the 2nd half like we are, we are being out-coached. Clearly these other teams are making adjustments at the half and we aren’t anticipating them well or responding to them well. Of course this also is a personnel issue since we have limited inside scoring and limited ball-handling, but at the college level, personnel also comes back to the coach.

We are consistently inconsistent on offense.
It’s as though we have 4 schemes and they are called regardless of what the opposition is doing.

It’s a strategy more coaches are going too. It’s a lost art of the game. Everyone either shoots 3’s or goes to the basket. Mid Range jumper are archaic

Thinking the same but said it better than I could. “Talk like a pirate” is an accurate description. So stupid. And annoying.

Being a skilled three-level scorer is really the only way to become truly unguardable in basketball. Doesn't matter how good you think you are. There's always someone out there who can clean your clock. But not so much the case if the D has to guard your three, your drive, and your mid-range pull-up. Under this scenario, they'll bite on a fake or overplay you somewhere.
