Assuming this is because we have several cases now?

Is this game going to streamed on ESPN+ ?
I was just looking for it and could not find.

It was noted above that the game was postponed.

The fact that games against 2 different opponents have been postponed is a pretty strong indication that the issue is with our program, and I would be willing to bet that no one has symptoms that would have been the least cause for concern 2 years ago. I'm not just talking about not cancelling games. The "sick" kids would have played. It's all about test results now, and until that changes, we will continue to see disruptions.

A few years ago we had a game at Winthrop and at least 5 of our players had severe flu symptoms with high fever. A couple of them sat out and the rest did the best they could. We won the game (our first win in Rock Hill in many years.) I think it's probably safe to say none of our guys are currently as sick as those 5 were.

At our last home game, Preston played a little, but when he was on the bench, he sat away from the team in the corner wearing a mask.

Honestly, since it seems like everyone is going to get omicron at some point, I’d rather it be in January than March.

He would have had to test negative to be allowed to play. His 12 minutes were just a shade under his average, and he was extremely productive, scoring 10 points while not missing a shot from the floor or the line. I can only guess the social distancing and masking was his personal choice out of "an abundance of caution".

Wouldn’t be a problem if we only tested symptomatic people.

Some pro leagues are going to this.

Yeah, it should be considered, but here we are. The NCAA isn’t known for quick or forward-thinking solutions.

*bump*

This should be an easy one to get back on track. I’m more concerned about how we play than whether or not we win. I don’t think KSU is very good.

We are hitting open looks from all over the place. I am loving the defensive aggression from Shiloh & Preston.

Flames cruise to a 65-50 victory with heavy bench play for most of the second half

Much better player when he is a threat to score. Seems like most of his TOs are when he is forcing the extra pass.
