Anyone have any idea why we have played so poorly in conference play?

we look really bad right now.

Tonight has been embarrassing. Hopefully we won’t lose but we 100% deserve to.

These friday games are hideous. How have we gotten worse since the start of the year.

I missed the first 15 min or so. Did i hear they are missing their entire front court!?? If thats true then this is just a bush league performance.

Yep. None of their big men playing.

I don’t remember looking this bad since Dale Layer.

Donnie Jones has consistently out coached McKay.

Has McKay even coached? He hasn’t done anything. Just sits there.

Frustrating on so many levels
The commentary is equally frustrating

I havent seen a mckay team regress like this is. This team looks like a shell of the one that played the first couple weeks. This team can lose to anybody in the league and i mean anybody.

We look like a young team with chemistry problems.

We look like a team without a go-to scorer. McGhee is great, but too streaky and not a great finisher. We don’t have anyone who can get and make a high percentage shot on his own.

Hopefully one of these super high scoring high schoolers coming in next year can fix that

It’s frustrating, but in my mind I still think we are exactly where we thought we would be, or even slightly ahead of what our expectations were for this season.

This lineup at the end is a joke when you need offense.

We are not mentally tough at all. That is the biggest challenge going forward.

I guess the early success against Power 5s had me thinking that we were a lot better than we are. We got issues.

Ive been hesitant to question mckay but watching how poor weve played offensively the last 2 weeks its a joke not playing abii more. I dont care if hes not all the way there defensively. Hes too good to be playing 5 to 7 min a game.

Especially in a game when the opponents entire front court was out.

This game is where the “typical liberty” came from. Its the textbook typical liberty game.

You also have to wonder how we’re under-preparing for these teams. We’ve come out flat in every single game 1 so far. Is it a scouting issue? Game plan? Nerves?
