This kid's stock is rising, with recent offers from BC and Xavier. He plays with 6'6" 4* Matthew Cleveland, who has signed with FSU, and in recent games, Josh's production has been as good or better. For what it's worth, Rivals has him listed at 6'7" 210.

He certainly fits our “positionless” roster at that size. Still hope we can land a solid, traditional big, I’ve always heard that the pack-line does best with a shot-blocker in the middle.

Rivals now has dropped a 4th star on Josh, and has him ranked 93rd overall in the class of 22.

If the shot-blocker's name is Diakite, yes. If it's Huff, apparently not so much.

The rim protector still needs to be able to execute other defensive responsibilities.

Official Visit this Weekend at LU before he heads to Northwestern for another.

Josh has not included us in his top 5.

Northwestern and Boston College?
That stings a bit

His home town is listed as Atlanta, but 3 of his final 5 are in a tight cluster in the Midwest, with SC and BC the exceptions, and the Gamecocks the only one close to home.

South Carolina isn’t a great program either, but they’re still P5 programs. Ironically the best programs on his list are non-P5, although that’s more of a football designation and the BE and AAC are just as good most years. It’s nice to see our name in the mix with a bunch of the big boys. It will be nicer once we’re winning the battles more often.

You are right about SC. After it looked like Martin was going to replicate his K-State success a few years ago, they quickly dropped off to mediocrity again, and last year they were just plain bad. As a recruit however, it's as much or more about liking the coach and seeing an opportunity to play as it is a winning tradition.
