LU wins 91-38. Abii was our leading scorer with 17 points, and Luke McKay out scored 4 of our 5 starters.

It's really impressive the lengths to which Ritchie goes to try not to embarrass an over-matched opponent without disrespecting the game. Cuffee gets the night off for "load management". Our regular starting lineup played just 48 minutes, taking 12 shots and scoring 15 points. Meanwhile, 5 Freshmen scored 42 points (4 more than the entire Carver team) and a walk-on who hadn't scored all year had 8 points, which tied Carver's 2 leading scorers.

And while it's nice to give our guys reps, he understands that playing these games helps these other faith-based schools put money into their own programs. We don't really "need" runs against nccaa teams.

Pull this school up on Google maps. It's really the love of the game that has these kids out there. I'm glad Liberty looks out for some of these other Christian schools.

Carver was playing for the third night in a row. Ga Southern beat them 90 something to 20 something Tuesday and Presbyterian beat them Monday.

According to Wikipedia, in 2017, Carver College's enrollment was only 60 students. And the college is named after George Washington Carver.

It is an HBCU with deep Moody roots that is not only a likeminded school but a conference mate of VUL.

Oh yeah, one of my favorite preachers is an alum who settled in Texas and continues to have massive influence. His son sang on the Sounds of Liberty before being a finalist on the Voice in one of the first seasons.

It was already mentioned in another thread that Tony Evans was an alum.
