I agree that overall it was encouraging, especially with the kids playing as well as they did. These new guys are just on a different level than recruits from a few years ago.
I'd like to see way more Warfield and way less Keegan, and I guess a little more Shiloh and less Preston? I didn't think Shiloh looked good either.
This team could be really good 25 or 30 games from now.
So, 2 of the 3 players you were "super unimpressed" with after one game were pretty terrific last night.
Keegan is off to a slow start shooting, but there is a reason he is getting minutes. He knows the defensive system better than anyone on the roster except Cuff and Darius. I'm all for "seeing more" of Warfield when he is ready. Apparently he is not.
