LU will play Towson (5-5) in the first round, and either Akron (8-2) or Tulane (7-2) in the second round.

I have a question but I almost want to ask it off the record so as not to jinx the team.

This game won't be a gimme. The UVa/UMBC game should be a good reminder of that. There is some good ball in the CAA.

UMBC isn't a CAA member, however many awesome programs have been CAA members: ODU, George Mason, VCU, etc...

I wasn’t suggesting they were...Towson is and Towson is CAA. If UVA could be toppled by an American East team, we should certainly be wary of a CAA opponent.

Not sure why, but ESPN has it flipped. Liberty is -7 on the major bookie sites.

I will be there! It is at the new Entertainment and Sports Arena in SE DC. I have never been there but It is a smaller venue, about 4,000 for basketball. Should make for a decent environment for a small holiday tourney like this.

I am rocking my Liberty polo at work today so if you're at the arena this afternoon look for me!

The tournament in the Bahamas was on FloHoops and within one month of this tournament. Tried to warn you guys then. 5 games for $30. Not ideal but also not terrible.

Trailed Towson at halftime, but starting to inch away down the stretch. Akron tomorrow with a win.

Watching the Flames live for the first time in a while and RM's calm demeanor during the ups and downs of the game is pretty impressive.

That time of the game where the opponent runs out of gas. It seems to happen every game with about 4 or 5 minutes remaining.

Up 59-45 with 3:25 to go

Liberty wins and will face Akron tomorrow at 3:30.

From what I saw today, Towson looked better than Akron but it'll be another tight game because that is all we know

To piggyback off your post, the thing that impresses me most about this team is their poise. They get down close to double digits in 2nd half and don't panic and get out of their game. Coach fosters that mindset.
