If roundball is your blood, this is the place to discuss the Flames as they move into the Ritchie McKay era for the 2nd time.

We are so streaky offensively. Moving the ball well and making much better decisions and now the shots are dropping.

Homesley taking over. As pointed out by others he tends to do that against better teams (UCLA and MSU) in particular. Seems he could do it anytime he wants but is such an unselfish player.

LU up by 6 late in the first half.

This is already been said but Vandy was picked to finish 14th (last) in SEC this year. Lost defensive focus at the end of the half and playing 2 NAIA teams didn't prepare us for SEC talent. Hopefully, we can regroup, maintain composure, and win this thing.

James needs to stick to rebounds cause everything he throws up clinks off.. tough offensive start for his season continues...

The refs are awfull. Good news is they are so awful it isn't benefiting either team.

Exhibit R lol. I feel like he could have thrown that down but instead went reverse clink.

Really upsetting to watch to be quite honest. Vanderbilt being sloppy and defense being suffocating not resulting in anything besides jacking up 3s. Team needs to be smarter and they'd be up 15.

At least our defense is good. It's clear Vandy is tiring out. But it won't matter if we can't score ourselves.

We have proved once again that 1. we are not afraid to play any team and 2. our defense is elite against P5 competition.

Sad we have been so off from 3 tonight...different ball game by a mile if that changes. Some poor decision making at times too. Hope we pull it out!

Homesley got destroyed on that drive. So bad.

Baxter-Bell and Homesley were both fouled, but they were both no calls from the refs.

Even if this ends up being a win, genuinely worried about how this team plays when the 3 isn't falling. I understand this is the "toughest" team they have faced so far (even if it is one of the worst P5 teams), but with smart decision making even driving to the basket, the Flames are up by 15-20. Yes refs have been terrible, but it has benefited neither team, and we really shouldn't start using that excuse.

This is literally just Liberty vs Nesmith. It’s amazing how many opponents this season have just been one good player.

We don't play very well and still win. Good outcome for us, especially on the road.

Not the prettiest of wins, but great fight and endurance from the team and still held them to a low score! Even if our threes are off our D should keep us in most games with a chance to take it in the closing minutes! Pumped!
