Liberty - 322
Maine - 23

probably will be 89-44, somewhere around there. Want to see Newman play and dominate a smaller team.

Land wise it is a pretty large state. Maine is where my parents grew up and I sepnt 4 years living up there. I love it up there but wouldn't ever live there.

But I think there are 5 or 6 schools in the UMaine system

University of Maine (Main campus in Orono)
University of Southern Maine
UMaine Fort Kent
UMaine Augusta
UMaine Farmington
UMaine Presque Isle

I feel like there is one more but can't think of it.

I am sure you really cared....

using the free week trial to watch on ESPN+

Cabbill with an early 3 to pass 1000 pts.

Liberty getting a lot of open shots but not hitting anything. 2/8 from the floor so far

6-3 LU 14:30 left 1H

Pretty sloppy so far.

I think we are believing our own press early on. Shooting is iffy. We are sloppy. Nothing like the focus of last year's squad. We have the talent though. Hoping we can get organized in these first two games, find our shot, and make some noise in the early season.

Offense is starting to wake up a little bit. They're driving the lane and finding easy layups and open shots.

7-0 run by Liberty

25-18 LU 3:13 1H

We can't even make free throws this year. Our shooting and guard play have been ugly this week.

Couple of thoughts.

1. Newton runs really good for a 7'2 big guy.
2. They still don't play though Scottie. Like last year, too much passing around the perimeter.
3. McGhee is going to be special!

If you asked me who our best player would be through 1.5 games I would never have said Bell but he has game has been on point! Kudos to him.

29-21 LU at Halftime

Sloppy play all around in the first half. Wonder if they've bought into the hype, especially after playing #15 VT tough last week.

11-25 on FG - 44%
4-16 on 3PT - 25%
3-7 on FT - 43%

10 Turnovers against 8 from UMFK

Cabbil leading with 10 pts, James leading with 6 Rebounds

We hit 90% against VT. Didn't miss a single one in the first half.

Baxter-Bell could be the next Eric Green if he decided to play TE for us. Good hands!

Settling in on D in the 2nd half and cut down on the sloppy plays. Maybe the 1st half was just nerves.
