Saw where Hobbs picked up a couple more D1 offers, one being Lipscomb

Presby being the other.

Hobbs just committed to Lipscomb, which is pretty close to home for him.



That narrows the gap to 2-1 in head to head recruiting battles against them. With our main need being for a guard, I actually don´t think we were going to give him the one remaining scholarship to sign in November if he had committed. Our offer was probably to sign him in the Spring in anticipation of another schollie becoming available.

Good for him! Although I would rather that we get a commit from Talton Jones though.

I think our top 3 targets for that scholarship are Jones, Issac McBride and Pierce Hellums. Lipscomb has also offered McBride and Caleb Mills, but with over a dozen high major programs among his 32 offers, I don´t see either of us landing Mills. Jones would be a perfect replacement for Cabbel, but I think he has more upside.

Yeah I don’t think Mills is in the picture either. The other three seems like good choices.
