It'll basically be the same Vines at this point, but with a flat floor and a new roof. There was supposed to be more done, but just about everything got canned. I think even the new locker rooms in the arena are going to be bare bones as well.
Well that’s kinda disappointing
I thought we had bags of cash 🤔[/quote]

Gotta save it for more important things like political “think tanks”.

Ballcoach, the Old Men's Club wants CASH on the barrel head; your credit is no good with them! :oldhag :nono :oldhag

Sounds like Ballcoach went to Western Union and sent TF a cash advance telegram for his basketball seaon tickets.

They can just build another arena for men's basketball once successful becomes more casual years from now. I say add a 5500-6000 seated arena on east, in the parking lot section by Doc's. Add a car garage in the same area for better parking options. Leave the Liberty Rena for wonens bball ,volleyball and wrestling.

Has anyone looked at the seating map for the new arena? It looks like an exact 50-50 split between student seats on one side and townspeople (Baptist) seats on the other side. And teams' benches are on the townspeople side.

Considering the practice courts, lockerrooms, etc that they just built not too long ago. I'd think when the time was right, they'd just move MBB back to the Vines. Unless, of course anyone has any info on any renovations that they plan on doing inside the Vines?

I was told that they were planning on selling 2100 tickets to non-students and 2100 for the students. Should be a good place to play and a good home court advantage. I too wish they had seating for 6k, but......................... :dontgetit

That place is going to be so loud. I'm so excited about it.

I also had hoped for a venue closer to 5,000 but I am fine with 4,000. The place is going to be a beautiful venue.

I'd love to make the trip down for a game this year to check out the new arena but have a feeling tickets will be hard to come by.
