Now here is a school many of us know a great deal about ... even if the team is a big question mark.

They have three Jamaicans and a Brazilian but don't exactly have a stacked lineup.

Three Jamaicans? C'mon SuperJon, you gotta get a dreadlock wig and bring a bobsled and ask them to join your bobsled team...

I didn't even look at their roster yet. I don't know if I'll be at the game. I'll probably still be tailgating.

The other Liberty... or are we the other Cedarville?
Anyway, generally I would say this will be a win... but now it's a tossup.

Cedarville predates us in the big picture, but I don't think most of America would know Cedarville from Averett. But this exhibition might be enough motivation to get my octogenarian grandfather to attend his first basketball game. He spent decades on the board at Cedarville before retiring a few years ago.

Wins & loses in these exhibitions mean absolutely nothing outside of giving us some fodder for conversation on here until the real games begin. Unlike that Shenendoah game a couple of years ago that actually counted, these are nothing more than glorified practices where the team gets an opportunity to try out some lineups together on the floor. You get the feel of a real game without the repercussions that come from trying things on the floor when it really matters.

All that said, we should be running this NAIA Division II school out of the gym.

agreed. this will not be much of a game. they did beat the #9 team in NAIA division I over the weekend. i fully expect us to play a much better game than against barton.
