We come out focused and stay focused for an entire game. I am calling for us to win this game. It will take everything we've got but this team has underachieved since the calendar changed and it's time to see what we are made of.

Anybody heard any updates on the Isaiah Williams suspension?
I’m assuming he won’t be playing anymore this season, but don’t know if he’ll even be coming back to the team.

I haven't heard anything, but this situation seems different than the Theo Johnson suspension, which ended in dismissal. The issue as stated by Ritchie is that he is "not meeting the standard to be a great teammate.". Pretty ambiguous, and I believe he still has contact with the team and is right behind the bench cheering them on at home games.

Hope you're right, but I don't see it. We are not shooting very well from outside, our center doesn't get much help inside and we just don't play very smart at times. When we put up a shot, almost everyone releases immediately to play defense. We are still very young and don't lose much for next year. Hopefully, this will help us make a run at first place next season. We could get hot and win the tournament, but don't see much more than a 10% chance.

If we play defense we have a shot at beating UNCA. In first game, defense did not show up for game.

I see the gurus already have UNCA in the NCAA tournament. I hope LU wins BSC tournament and the drive by media has to eat crow.

I can't speak for all of the 'gurus', but the typical philosophy of the people that put together mock brackets is to build them as if the season ended today...and most of them use the team that is currently in first place as the automatic bid winner for each conference...so they aren't making a prediction as to who they think will win, they're just using a consistent method in who they use as the auto bid qualifier in the moment. So there's no real crow to be eaten...

I believe there are 3or4 teams who could win BSC tournament. All it would take is one big upset early.

I’m not sure if this was mentioned before, but Isaiah Williams is dressed for the game.

Isaiah Williams checked in and played for about a minute in the first half.

Flames up 33-25 at half

Played the best ball we have played all year, for the first 10-12 minutes. We were actually trying to get the ball inside and had great ball movement. 8)

I am completely done with the lazy passes by our guards. Those lazy looping passes work only in high school and our guys are better players than that! /rant

The UNCA broadcasters on the BSN, ESPECIALLY the “analyst,” have been utterly insufferable. I’m all for a bit of homerism, but this is beyond bad.

What a play by Scottie James with only 1.4 seconds! McDowell had an amazing baseball pass to James.

True! One of commentator’s hardcore bias. Well he has nothing much to say since Liberty went all out in AOT and UNCA just died out.

Held them scoreless in OT.

Liberty wins it 82-69
