One Camel had 42 and another 32 points. We need to recruit better. Need bigger more athletic players.

Recruiting better players doesn't help when your defense is predicated on praying the opponent misses wide open 3-point shots.

What would we have without a gimmick? Forcing TOs is about all we do well right now.

The sad part of this is, where was this kind of effort on offense the last 5-6 games? We would have won every one of the last 4 games with this same kind of game.
Not much you can do about a team shooting 70% from behind the arc. We were defending them pretty well and they still got the shots off. Those guys were shooting from beyond the NBA line.
At least we were trying to work the ball inside, taking good shots and hit some 3's. Not sure what our offensive rebounding numbers are, but the last 3 games, I have noticed after almost every shot, 4 players are retreating to play defense and don't follow their shot for a possible rebound. Seems like is is almost always 4 on1 rebounding under our goal.
UVA held Clemson to 36 points points tonight. The pack line works somewhere.

I have never understood why teams drop 4 players back when ball is shot. It should be the opposite. Drop one and other 4 hit the boards.

TF says it was a co-ed softball league, and you would walk the guys and only pitch to the girls. True or false?

Actually, we had 10 offensive rebounds and scored 15 points off of them. We outplayed Campbell in a lot of ways, but it wasn't enough to offset that blistering shooting display.

Ritchie revealed in his post game that Cabell actually hurt his knee on the last play of the Winthrop game and has not been c!ose to 100% since, but tried to play with it. MRI this week revealed "issues". Could be anywhere from a few more days to season ending.

Offensively LU looked better and certainly battled but that's more of a reflection of the fact that the Camels routinely allow teams to score in the 70-80 pt range.. Not sure that translates to beating UNCA, HP,or RU who are better defensive teams than Campbell.. LU hit 50% of their 3s in the RU game as an example..

Liberty has allowed 46 of 71 3pt shooting (64.8%) to their last 3 opponents (CU, UNCA, HP)..
CU 23 of 33 (69.7%)
UNCA 15 of 14 (62.5%)
HP 8 of 14 (57.1%)

It's not the offense or the rebounding that would be the most immediate concern.

we are too focused on inside defense, thus letting opponents bomb away from 3 point land. we need to guard 3 point shooters more closely.

Then you don’t understand the defense
