They also lost to Asheville by only 10 at Asheville. For them, that ain't terrible.

I really hope the Vines will be packed Friday night. This team deserves it!

Can't take anyone lightly. Longwood had a rough go of it early, but is playing a bit better of late. Beat G-W and played UNCA pretty tough.

It seems 75% of all home games, ( in every sport), are when students are on break. Will be hard to pack Vines with students on break, I doubt if Longwood will bring very many fans.

Ballcoach, you've been to Farmville. For those Longwood students, coming to Lynchburg is the BIG city, and they do travel well, esp. the guy who wears "Lancers pants."

Only sport I have seen Longwood play is softball, when they play LU. I am still trying to cipher how Longwood got into the BSC conference. That's almost the equivalent of Lynchburg College to the ACC.

So, how did you feel about Longwood's sweep of UVa in softball last year? I guess LC could have done the same.

Pretty sure we swept uva in softball too rogers ha. Ballcoach is out there on some stuff but hes right on about longwood. Joke of a school and athletics program and it was a mistake to admit them.

No...Longwood joining the BSC is NOT equivalent to LC joining the ACC. Not that I like Longwood, but let's not go too far with such an argument. Now if he meant to compare it to Liberty going to the ACC, he'd be right.

All im saying is longwood was a terrible add. No football, garbage bball programs, garbage baseball. Solid solftball. Crappy facilities

Big south should have engaged hampton long before longwood. Probably even norfolk state.

My research indicates their men's tennis team went 14-6 last year. Field hockey was 11-6 this year. Women's soccer was 15-3-3 this year and went to the Big South title game. Should have won it too, dominated statistically but obviously didn't get the job done.

That's not great but certainly paints a different picture than being only remotely good at one sport, a sport in which they went 30-29 in last year.

Completely inexcusable. That is just embarassing. That type of game cant happen at home against garbage.

Exactly why the fan base doesnt show up to support. Every single time momentum is there this program lays an absolute turd.

Lololol losing to one of the worst teams in all of college basketball.... at home.

What’s even more pathetic is the students and the locals. Terrible support.
