Really? Maybe you looked at the CSU gym.

CSU is smaller, but I think CSU has done a better job with what they have than G-W.

Chuck South's field house seats 790; G-W's arena seats 3,500. In comparison, new BSC member USC-Upstate has a gym that seats 878.

Actually, if you physically count the seats in Porter Arena, it doesn't reach 3,000. A professor friend of mine did it one time a few years ago. The arena is in dire need of a facelift, not arguing that point at all. They've done a decent job with the floor and the locker rooms, etc., but the seating and concessions are poor and not up to a D1 standard.

Of course, with the pinhead leading our athletic department, the one y'all know so well, you shouldn't be surprised the operation is stuck in a D2 or NAIA mindset.

As for the game today, we have had trouble this season valuing and protecting the basketball, sloppy with turnovers. Ritchie cranking up the defensive pressure and keeping the game in the low 70's or lower means an LU win. I'd say y'all win by 6-8.

Talbert getting the surprise start tonight. Five minutes in with no subs, and LU leading 10-5. McCracken is there, because I can clearly hear his siren voice.

Not a great first half from the parts i saw. Rough shooting then a couple bad defensive rotations at the end of the half.

I'm not exactly sure what we are trying to do. Bell shooting the 3 is not what we want when we are down. Shooting is poor and we are so far not getting to the foul line.

With 10 minutes left, LU trailing 41-40.

With a wider array of shooting weapons this year it is suprising we can still have games where we still shoot awful. Shot selection is some of it but not all.

Very uninspiring performance yet again. Our offense is looking more and more like the frustrating uva offense and less like the open mckay style.

Also some scrub named reilly is hitting everything.

Who is going to be the apologist for this one?

We didnt look mentally engaged and we looked like a young team today. Disappointing effort.

Well that should be a wakup call for a group that has slept walked for about 3 weeks. Thats a middle of the pack road loss or otherwise one that you need to win.

Terrible last possession by pacheco. He didnt rush the ball up the floor and was intent on being a hero again. We had time to get 1 maybe 2 passes around had we pushed it.

Disappointing. 4-22 from 3 will not get it done. Strange situation with Cabbel, who looks the part of a defensive stopper and has that reputation, but 3 times this year his man has gone off for a career game.

58-55, that's a high school game score. I know nothing about GW, but when I looked at their schedule/scores, I saw that they had given up a lot of points. I figured we'd score between 75 and 90.

For whatever the reason, we did not "come out of locker room ready to play". Not going to beat many teams scoring 55 points.

My thoughts exactly. Why not play deny defense. This guy should have never touched the ball after making those 4 straight 3s.
