Drove on campus at lunch to check out the Indoor Practice facility and saw NSU's bus pulling in. No hope for them being stressed with traffic or anything. I'm glad the CIT is adapting to 2017 and streaming on Facebook Live. Get it on as many screens as you can.

I believe it is. Although student attendance are usually not good every game. It actually disappoints me to not see much students at games. You would think students would represent their school even if the team is not doing so well. This season was a positive season and I can only hope they'll be more students (in the future) that have heart for the athletic teams and not just for free stuff.

We played a good all around game, shot the ball well, and didn't start the game ice cold. Solid win. I would like to see us put back to back games together here. I am not looking for wins so much as progress. Tonight was progress. The best part of this whole experience is the extra practice time for this young team.
I also liked the Facebook live feed. That is a distribution channel we need to use early and often. Wave of the future.

We've tapped into it somewhat (Alan and Jamie use them for pre and post-game and they did the LFSN post-game on there as well) I think we could do well to try streaming live games on there, especially in light of the recent ASN announcement and its effect on mid-majors (and FBS independents like we are about to be)

They has advertisements on there. They also get on a lot of screens that way. I wouldn't have watched had it been on anything else yesterday. I just needed a phone friendly format while my wife and I watched a movie last night. Remember, Liberty's desire for exposure exceeds their desire for money. They probably believe the exposure leads to more money.

You have to think that smart people at places like Liberty are going to find ways to monetize FB live because people are going to find whatever way they can to get their programming and product on as many screens as possible

I was. Doesn't mean it wasn't true!

But we got a trophy for a WIN, not for perfect attendance.
I don't think Norfolk State left with a trophy (or did they?).

A trophy for a win in the first round of the worst end of the year D1 tourney is dumb no matter how you spin it.

To be fair, the trophy was for the Classic not for the tournament. Other non-Classic first round games are not awarded trophies.

And We have a post season win in RM's second year. I came into this season thinking last year we over performed. Then I finished this season with a little of the same feeling.

The Classic was invented last year. Still dumb.

I believe it honors Coach McLendon, thus it's called a Classic and a Trophy is given. That's what I think I read.

The trophy might be dumber than when LU had "Phil Robertson Night" or whatever it was during the dark ages that was the Layer era.

Anyone have any idea who we play next ?

Ballcoach, the Wednesday and Thursday games have to be played first to determine winners to see who will advance to Round 2.
