I believe a win in this one guarantees us no worse than top 3 if I read correctly after the CSU win

I really HATE that we play basketball games on Valentine's Day.

Nothing says Happy Valentine's like a serving of piping hot nachos and cheese.

The Appomattox nachos do leave a little to be desired

Another great win. I feel so bad for the team with the lack of attendance. These guys are batting there butts off. Now comes the test are we number 3 or are we ready to challenge unca and winthrop. Im loving have a good team again. I could get used to this.

This is an exciting team to watch. Lots of late game heroics/wins, that is certainly not like the "usual LU." Do we have a team on the mountain that actually plays better, when the pressure is on?
All of that being said, I still think we are a year away. One thing for sure, McKay has done a phenomenal job in a very short period of time.

We're still a big man away. While our perimeter defense has been fantastic - we can't stop anything at the rim.
Kemrite and Reid are proving to be quite the 1-2 punch. There was a drive late in the second half where Reid attacked hard to his left and switched hands underneath the basket to finish with his right. Big time move.

You should, as long as RMK is leading this team.
Great win!
Excited for Saturday!

What can you expect, when you schedule a game on VALENTINE'S DAY??? I would have loved to have been there, but Mrs. Cider, not so much.
A Valentine's Day basketball game is for all the poor guys who couldn't get a date.

Solving this attendance issue is pretty complex I am sure. There are lots of factors. Hopefully Ian can pull the right strings next season.

In all fairness. Layer pretty much destroyed our basketball fan base.

Attendance has been down since the late 90's.

Agreed...you probably could go all the way back to the Hanky years...you got a bit of a bump during the 04 championship year under He Who Shall Not Be Named but really it would take a lot of things and I don't think youll be seeing 6, 7 or even 8 thousand fans in Vines on a consistent basis...4-5,000 on average would be a win for me but that is going to take putting winning basketball on the court, good marketing and promotions that draw the fans in, especially on days like Tuesday when kids are not going to be out a ton during the school year. Personally I wouldn't be averse to the men doing a couple "education day" games so the youngest Flames fans can check these guys out and not have parents worrying about getting them home in time for bed so they can catch the bus in the morning
