It's been a while since we've had a really meaningful WU/LU game. Will be interesting to see how both teams do with the quick turnaround from Thursday's close wins.

Quick question, has Xzavier Barmore been injured? Or is he just not in the rotation as a freshman this season? He was a beast in high school, so I'm surprised he hasn't played more...

Buried on the bench. Has a lot of talent just his defense is not there yet.

Down by 12 late in the first half. We are having a lot of trouble breaking down their defense off the dribble. We need a PG with more quickness. Winthrop is cutting off all the penetration.

Welp. Can't play any more worse. On the bright side, they're still in the game.

Tough to build fan support and turn the Vines back into The Furnace when you shoot as poorly as this. Young team doing young team things. Can't miss wide open shots and expect fans to clamor for more. This was a big missed opportunity and not because we are going to lose rather because we look so ugly doing it. Keep recruiting, Coach!

When you're Liberty, you choke in big games. It's what you do.

I think attendance was announced at 4,158, thanks in part to the FREE white-out T-shirt give-away.

Dawson finished with ONE point.

Were just not there talent wise with winthrop and asheville. Will have to settle for 3rd at best this year. Id like to see both talbert brothers play more. Im not a ray chen fan at all. Hes not a d1 player and should get no minutes. I would love to see his minutes and a few of reids go to the talbert brothers. ac has improved and is no doubt an asset but when hes cold hes not helping you much.

On the plus side, the defense was pretty stinking good. With less offensive talent it at least helps keep the game close enough to give you a chance most nights. But not this night.

I wonder why the younger Talbert is not getting to play more. I think he could be an inside force at 6'9. He is definitely skilled and can jump out of the gym. He had a great dunk last night. Plus we need that presence. Bell is skilled as well but is only 6'5 and on most nights is playing someone 2-5 inches taller. Plus we could use the rebounding help. Just a thought.
