I think you are right on so far. We are basically the same team that finished last season just replace Pacheco for Fields and Baxter-Bell for Maxwell. The VCU close loss made us feel better but every other game has been basically what we saw last year after Dawson was eligible. Beat the weaker teams at home. Shoot the 3 well, we win or stay close. Better teams kill us inside.
Winthrop is a problem. We handled Keon pretty well last year but didn't have the answer for the big guys. We still don't with our current rotation of players we are using. UNCA has been giving their freshmen a lot of time with success and come conference play they will be tough. It's early but we have some work to do before we are ready for those teams.

JJ McCracken posted this on FB, so I hope it is accurate:
[After the] first 3 games of conference play:
1. UNC-Asheville (2-1, 10-6)
2. Radford (2-1, 7-8)
3. Winthrop (2-1, 10-4)
4. Gardner-Webb (1-2, 8-8)
5. Longwood (3-0, 6-8)
6. High Point (1-2, 7-8)
7. Liberty (2-1, 7-9)
8. Campbell (2-1, 9-6)
9. Charleston Southern (0-3, 4-10)
10. Presbyterian (0-3, 4-10)
Looks like our LU is tied for 2nd place in conference, and their LU is in first place.
