Rough half of basketball. The defense was really good in stretches but the offense is really struggling. Turnovers and poor shooting for the Flames. UNCA defense is keeping everything out of the paint and we do not have the playmakers to create opportunities.

Still 20 minutes to make something happen but it is going to have to happen quick.

Good to see that we have mailed it in for the year. Not a good sign that we aren't even competing.

I don't see any guys mailing it in. Effort is still there. Execution isn't. Plus the hot 3 point shooting that carried us through that run is gone. Tired legs, freshman wall, scouting report changes by opponent, etc.... all playing a factor.

Tonight was a pathetic display of defense. Reid not once hedged and allowed his teammate to recover and deny the guard penetration to the lane. There were far too many offensive rebounds by Asheville as well. The coach needs to go back to defensive fundamentals.

If y'all beat us Saturday and RU wins, a three-way tie ensues, and RU would get the 5th spot and bye since they would have the better record amongst the games played within our three squads (RU 3-1, LU 2-2, GW 1-3). LU would be 6 and GW 7.
