Two promotions tonight according to the flyers posted around campus--some kind of a dance show at halftime and lots of mini-basketballs given away! Play Basketball

I hope they pushed this game hard in convo and in hall meeting and prayer groups as well as saturated the airwaves to get the locals out.

I'm even going to the game since I have the evening off. The last two years I didn't go to any games because we'll, ya know. Haha. I'm sure many like me are going to be trickling back in. I expect at least 3-4 k tonight.

It's been forever since I've watched an LU basketball game, but I've got it on in another tab tonight.

I hate that we wasted 3 seconds on a timeout to inbound

I hated the last play calls..

But Maxwells gotta make a layup if not let #22 take the shot he was hot.

Not sure why you would hate the plays at the end of the game- you advance the ball to setup what was a bunny layup to potentially tie the game. Just didn't make the bunny.. otherwise the coaches put the players in great situation at the end

Agreed, you can't ask for anything better than a layup when you get the ball back, trailing with just 5 seconds on the clock. The big guy just missed a layup, no excuse.
Still, we stayed in the game the whole time and had a chance to win the game. The loss may help us before it is over. We are a young team and our expectations for the season have already been exceeded.

I agree 100%. You can't ask for a better scenario. Maxwell just didn't hit the shot. The way Radford was guarding so closely on the perimeter without regard for help, it was a great play to draw up.

Tough loss but the team appears to be headed in the right direction. I'm actually excited to be coming to Lynchburg next week. A month ago I don't think I would have said that about this assignment. Go Flames.

Great game.

Tough loss, but Liberty has proved that they are for real. They had two good looks but couldn't convert. I look for Maxwell and Kermit to light it up next game.

kemrite had a really good look for 3 it just didnt go down. They have seniors that made plays down the stretch. Would have been nice to win but oh well on to the next game.

Dude that was the perfect play call. You couldn't of asked for a better shot it just didn't fall.

The post-game radio guys said that the only time Radford led in the second half was on the last bucket that won the game. Which of course makes for a heart-breaking loss for Flame fans.
