Barklay's troops are having a tough year. Similar record to ours, with only 2 of their 5 wins again D1 opponents. The difference is that we have won our last 2 while the only wins they have since beating us on 12/5 are against Columbia International and St. Andrews. I think we are a better team now than we were then, but they are hard to beat in the awesome Bucdome.

From day one Ritchie has emphasized that if we can play solid defense it will "travel". Worked out pretty well in Conway. Hopefully we can repeat it in Charleston.

Kind of weird scheduling though right? Go to South Carolina on Wed for a game. Play a home game on Sat then go to the former travel partner of your opponent from last Wed. Seems like flip flopping the Campbell home game for this one would have been prudent for travel purposes. But I'm just a lowly Analyst. What do I know?

Play Basketball :nod :exactly
If we can pull this one off it will be 3 more games than probably anyone thought they would win this year.

As was said before, this is not the same squad that faced the Bucs on December 5.

(sigh)

Would love to see another win from this bunch. Lesser teams would have probably folded up the tent during that long losing streak, but RMK kept them on mission. I sense a very bright future for our boys.

Yes, indeed the fact that everyone plays their role and contributes whether its just cheering on the sidelines or taking the big shots. The future is bright for Liberty Basketball. With this core and incoming classes the turn around can be major in the upcoming years.

CSU was the first team to aggressively double team Maxwell, and it payed dividends for them. Hopefully we have made the necessary adjustments. He should be pretty much healed up from his tongue injury and be ready to resume being a force inside. We did well in getting 2 wins without a lot of production from him, but we need the big guy to be a scoring threat to be our best.

RMK asks for us to commit a foul with us leading by 1 with 35 seconds left... CSU hits 2 free throws and we lose????? I'm baffled........
