Looks as if the Hump Backs are scoring a lot of points

If we dont turn the ball over 25 times and stay out of foul trouble. Anythings possible.

York interviews RMK and Anthony Fields re the win over Coastal and todays game with Campbell.

I for one was happy to hear him give some props to Ezra Talbert for his play against CCU and hint that in order to get Ezra more minutes he may play him some with Maxwell.

Right now I think our best lineup has Maxwell and Talbert along with 3 guards; Fields, Cabbil and Dawson, with Homesley and Kemrite off the bench and everyone else cheering til they are hoarse.

Good lineup, olldflame, but I'd switch out Fields for Homesley, because he's more of a scorer and rebounder. Play Basketball

Tough choice for me between those 2, but the fact is if we were to cut back to a 7 man rotation, that is an average of over 28 minutes. Right now only 2 players (Cabill and Kemrite) are averaging over 28. Cabbil is playing 31+, and I don't think he is physically capable of more. Reid, Hiepler and Atencia would have their minutes cut way back, which is already starting to happen anyway (especially Hansel) so whether Homesley started or Fields, the other is going to play major minutes anyway.

Stat of the game:
The Camels have not won at Liberty since 1976.
That stat would pre-date both Sly and Scar. Was olldflame a student then??? Heck, that stat, I think, even pre-dates LU's campus on the mountain!

I was! I may well have been at that game. I certainly took the old TRBC buses out to Forest to see a number of them at the JF gym.

Would that have been an LBC lineup with Mark Chafin, Eddie Gomes, and Ed Vickers?

Mark for sure, and I believe that was Eddies Senior year. Vickers arrived a couple of years later. Had to think for a while about whether Karl Hess was on that team, but he came the next Fall.

We are up 29-27 at the half. We have out shot and out rebounded the Camels by a wide margin, but our 10 turnovers have kept them in the game. Fields and Reid with 7 each.

First time I have watched the team this year. Even though we have a poor record, we are light years ahead of last year. We are actually trying to get to the rim and are playing pretty good defense. We miss waaaay too may free throws, but hopefully that can be corrected. Looking forward to the future of MBB on the mountain. Good job Coach McKay.

Give it a break please. Very glad to have him but these 2 wins have been TEAM efforts.

Defensively this team is clicking. They don't have enough offensive weapons to blow anybody out but if they cut the turnovers in half we would make it much easier on ourselves.

2 D1 wins in a row. I'll take it!

I like what he brings to the team but there is plenty for him to work on.

Take it easy on the kid. Your hype machine is not endearing.

Four. I think we have a chance to double that.
