This is one of the 3 to 4 games I think the team can win. Unfortunately, if we play like we did at Furman, we aren't winning a game the rest of this season.

This might be true... That'll be crazy to go 3-31 tho...

I agree with PA that we won't win again playing like we did last game. Good news is I don't think we will play that bad very often. Will be good to be back home in the Vines. Young teams play better at home as this team has so far this season. Hopefully Saturday we will see some improvement.

Can't get much worse on the offensive end than 15 turnovers, shooting 17%, and scoring 14 points in 20 minutes.
Glass half full, the defense looks better. 20 more minutes to go.

There is the jekyl & hyde of a young team. Offense gets going and defense goes away. Really surprised we didn't see more Talbert in this game. They had two legit post players and whoever Maxwell did not guard hurt us in the post in the 2nd half. Kemrite and Homesley just can't guard a player with any size or strength in the post.
Here comes Dawson. Hope he can provide some spark even though the schedule gets tougher.

We need Dawson, and quick. Atencia is far from being ready to contribute at a DI level, the defense is even more unwatchable.

You should see the women's defense if you think what the men are doing is unwatchable!

Id we would just lose another game but without Dawson on the floor this team would probably go 3 and 30.....

Dawson isn't some sort of "Messiah" for the team this year. Now, will we improve with him on the floor? Absolutely...but this is a complete rebuild, like an old car engine that has fallen into disrepair. Coach McKay is the mechanic rebuilding the engine. Dawson is a part in the engine, just like all of these guys are.

in his world I guess that crap makes sense
simplistic tripe not worthy of the effort to read it
no one is surprised though - at least he's consistent

Umm...yeah...and? Like I said in the Furman thread, this is going to be a rebuilding year. Its going to be a long year...we all knew that going in when coach McKay came back. How teams we lose to do against someone else should not be the measuring stick for this bunch...we have to trust that Coach McKay knew what he was doing when he changed the roster the way he did, and give him the opportunity to build this team the way he believes it needs to be built.

BJ, we all know this team is bad. It is ok for us to talk about how bad they are. It doesn't mean we have lost faith in anybody.
