He's been consulting ofr much of the offseason. Cban is certainly not shy about adding more assistants to the staff. The NBA doesn't put a limit on how many he can employ and he takes full advantage of the situation.

Congrats to Johnny Blaze! I am excited for him. Another former Flame and teammate of mine Charles Richardson needs to be hired by an NBA team full time as a shooting coach. He has been very close to full time jobs with a few teams but it hasn't quite worked out. He is the guy that got Dwight Howard to shoot 80 plus percent over the summer during the 2008 Olympics. Hubie Brown was always talking about the impact he made on Howard's shooting and then Dwight fired him!
Anyway I wish Johnny well. Very proud of another fellow Flames Hooper doing well.

Laugh if you wish but Chaz got great results with Dwight in the short window he worked with him.

that is a small window, he has had several small windows of time in which he has shot well then he reverts back to old habits.
Of course I am a bitter magic fan and so I am somewhat biased on my dislike of Dwight Howard. I hope his career continues to fizzle out.

From what I know of him personally I am FAR from a fan of him either. We are on the same page there. Big underachiever.
