Ezra's brother just committed today. He also had offers from Central Arkansas and Stephen F Austin

No indication that we had actually offered prior to this, so it looks like when we did, he jumped on it. Ezra walked away from a chance to play for Creighton after he visited Liberty and the choice was for non basketball reasons. It looks like his brother feels the same, plus you have to figure the opportunity to play with big bro for 3 years is also a strong incentive. Josiah appears to be stronger and more of a post up option than Ezra, but still has a nice stroke from 3.

Our offer slipped through the cracks, but I was told we offered him "about 2 months ago."

And of course he shot 100% from the field. 8) You know how highlight videos are. My guess is pretty much every dunk he had that year is included, but there were quite a few. I was actually more impressed by some of his postup moves against defense than the dunks. Being a lefty gives him an advantage there. Opponents just aren´t used to it, even though they actually get to use their strong hand to defend against his shooting hand.

I've updated his profile with his junior season stats.

His junior numbers were a bit lower than Ezra´s, but not knowing the dynamics of the 2 teams I wouldn´t read too much into that. I am interested to see what a healthy (fingers crossed) Ezra brings to the table this year. We need him to produce if we are going to do much.

Tallest player on floor in virtually every clip. Looks like classic pick-and-pop player at 4. I don't see him being much of a back-to-basket post for LU. Could be in the blocker in the high key area if Ritchie chooses to run the Blocker-Mover stuff they ran at UVA.

Fun game tomorrow afternoon for Liberty fans at the Under Armour Finals in Atlanta. Josiah Tolbert and his KC Run GMC team take on Liberty target Brock Gardner and his Arizona Warriors squad. Liberty staff sure to be on hand for that matchup.

Might be about time for a 2016 Recruiting Discussion thread. Should be a lot of activity the next few months from this class. Excited to see the players that Coach McKay and staff offer over the next couple weeks during the July live periods.
